THE COUNCIL OF THE LONDON BOROUGH OF TOWER HAMLETS hereby gives notice that it has made an order under section 247 Town & Country Planning Act 1990 authorising the stopping up of a section of highway at Plant Room, Ground Level, Westferry Circus, E14 in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets and described in Part 1 of the schedule within this notice and shown black on the plan attached to the Order.

Copies of the order may be inspected at all reasonable hours at the offices of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, Town Hall, 160 Whitechapel Road, London E1 1 BJ quoting reference STO678650779

Any person(s) aggrieved by the order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks from 10th April 2025, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.

1. The proposed stopping up area measures approximately 6.10 metres in length and spans between 0.538 and 0.5 metres in width alongside the highway boundary.
