Notice is hereby given that the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972 and of every other power enabling it in that behalf, has made on 1st October 2002, a Statutory Rule entitled the Welfare of Animals (Slaughter or Killing) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2002. The Regulations come into operation on 8th November 2002.
