The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972, has made a Statutory Rule entitled the Potatoes Originating in Egypt Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2004.

The Regulations were made on 19th April 2004 and come into operation on 11th May 2004. Copies of the Statutory Rule, (SR2004 No. 183) are available from the Stationery Office Bookshop, 16 Arthur Street, Belfast BT1 4GD.
