Air Quality Management Order

Ards Borough Council has recently completed its stage 2 and 3 review and assessment of air quality within the Borough. It has identified through a dispersion modelling exercise that there is a potential for exceeding the National Air Quality Objective for particulate matter PM10 (24 hour mean) in the ward of Bradshaws Brae.

An Air Quality Management Area is now declared with effect from 1st March 2005.
