APPLICATION TO VARY AN EXISTING AUTHORISATION
Du Pont (UK) Ltd has applied to the Chief Inspector to vary Authorisation 143/01A, to operate its Kevlar production facility (an acid process), to authorise the introduction of additional production capacity at its Maydown Works, Londonderry, Co Londonderry, BT47 6TH.

Written representations about the application may be sent to the Chief Inspector of the Industrial Pollution & Radiochemical Inspectorate, Environment and Heritage Service, (address as above), within 42 days from the 24tth June 2005. All representations will be placed on the public register unless a representation contains a written request to the contrary. If there is such a request, the register will only include a statement that there has been such a request
