The List of Waste Regulations (Northern Ireland)

The Department of the Environment has made a Statutory Rule entitled The List of Waste Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2005 (S.R. 2005 No. 301). The Rule, which is made under powers conferred by Section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972, makes provision for the European Waste Catalogue to comply with the EC Waste Framework Directive and Hazardous Waste Directive. The Regulations come into operation on 16th July 2005.
