Letters Patent bearing date 8th day of January 2007 have passed the Great Seal of Northern Ireland appointing Mr Justice Higgins to be a Lord Justice of Appeal in Northern Ireland.

The said Letters Patent were enrolled in the Central Office of the Supreme Court of Judicature of Northern Ireland on 8th day of January 2007.

The Honourable Lord Justice Higgins took the Oath of Office on the 8th day of January 2007 in the presence of the Lord Chancellor and the Lord Chief Justice of Northern Ireland.

The Oath was administered by Mr C W G Redpath? Clerk of the Crown for Northern Ireland.
