The Blood Tests (Evidence of Paternity) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2007

Notice is hereby given that the Lord Chancellor in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Article 10 of the Family Law Reform (Northern Ireland) Order 1977 has made the following Regulations:The Blood Tests (Evidence of Paternity) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2007 [S.R. 2007 No. 99]

These Regulations increase the charges which may be made by samplers under the Blood Tests (Evidence of Paternity) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1978 in respect of scientific tests carried out on bodily fluid or tissue for the purpose of determining parentage in civil proceedings.

These charges were last increased on 1st July 1992 by the Blood Tests (Evidence of Paternity) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1992 (S.R. 1992 No. 225).

These Regulations shall come into operation on 16th March 2007
