PUBLIC NOTIFICATION OF AN APPLICATION MADE UNDER REGULATION 10

OF

THE POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL REGULATIONS (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2003

Notice is hereby given that Sterile Technologies Inc. (NI) Ltd has applied to the Chief lnspector for an Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) permit to operate an installation involving the Disposal of Waste other than by Incineration or Landfill.

The installation is located at Antrim Area Hospital, in the district of Antrim in the County of Antrim.

The application contains a description of any foreseeable significant effects of emissions from the installation on the environment.

Information relating to the above IPPC application for a permit to operate the Antrim Clinical Waste Treatment Plant is held in registers at the following locations:

Members of the public can inspect the register free of charge at the above stated addresses during normal office hours. In addition, members of the public who wish to obtain a copy of the relevant information contained in the register can do so upon the payment of a reasonable charge to cover the costs of copying.
