PUBLIC NOTIFICATION OF AN APPLICATION MADE UNDER REGULATION 10

OF

THE POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL REGULATIONS (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2003

Notice is hereby given that Ballygarvey Eggs have applied to the Chief lnspector for an Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) permit to operate an intensive egg production unit.

The installation is located at 123 Craigs Road, Cullybackey, Ballymena, Co. Antrim, BT42 1PG.

The application contains all particulars as required by the Regulations including a description of foreseeable significant effects of emissions from the installation on the environment.

A copy of the application is available for public inspection free of charge between the hours of 09.30-12.00 and 14.00-15.30 at Environment and Heritage Service, Calvert House, 23 Castle Place, Belfast, BT1 1FY and Ballymena Borough Council, 80 Galgorm Road, Ballymena, BT42 1AB. In addition, members of the public who wish to obtain a copy of the relevant information contained in the register can do so upon the payment of a reasonable charge to cover the costs of photocopying.

Written representations about the application may be sent to the Chief Inspector of the Industrial Pollution & Radiochemical Inspectorate, Environment and Heritage Service (address as above), within 42 days from the date of this publication. All representations will be placed on the public register unless a representation contains a written rerquest to the contrary. If there is such a request, the register will only include a statement that there has been such a request.
