THE IMPORTATION OF HAY, STRAW AND GRASS MEAL ORDER (Northern Ireland) 1962

General import licence

The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, in accordance with the terms of the above legislation, hereby authorises the importation into Northern Ireland of:–

HAY AND STRAW FROM GREAT BRITAIN, CHANNEL ISLANDS, ISLE OF MAN AND THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND

Conditions attached to this licence

1. The premises of origin must be free from any OIE list of diseases and must not be situated in an area subject to restriction due to these diseases.
2. Any product landed in Northern Ireland under this licence shall be made available for inspection if so required by an Officer of the Department.
3. The importer or his agent shall afford all assistance necessary to such an offer ro enable him to carry out the inspection.
4. This licence wil remain valid unless revoked or replaced by the Department.
5. This licence revokes and repalces DARD/GEN/02/09

Notes

“Hay” means any grass, clover, lucerne, sainfoin or any green cereal, which has been dried either naturally or artificially.
