THE AFRICAN HORSE SICKNESS REGULATIONS (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2013

The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has made a Statutory Rule entitled “The African Horse Sickness Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2013” (S.R. 2013 No 244), which comes into operation on 18th November 2013.

1. These Regulations implement the provisions of Council Regulation (EC) No 92/35/EEC which lays down control measures to combat African horse sickness.

2. They revoke the provisions of the Specified Diseases (Notification) Order 2004 in so far as they apply to African horse sickness.
