POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL (SCOTLAND) REGULATIONS 2000

In accordance with Paragraph 4 of Schedule 7 to the Pollution Prevention and Control (Scotland) Regulations, notice is hereby given that SITA UK Limited has applied to the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) to vary (change) their permit under Regulation 13 of the regulations. This is in respect of activities being carried out namely the landfilling of non-hazardous waste in an installation at Binn Landfill Site, Binn Farm, Glenfarg PH2 9PX.

The change in the operation proposed by the application is to amend the wording of the current odour permit condition (2.11.1) to include reference to the latest agreed Odour Management Plan.

The application may be inspected, free of charge, at SEPA Angus Smith Building, 6 Parklands Avenue, Eurocentral, North Lanarkshire or SEPA Strathearn House, Lamberkine Drive, Perth from Monday to Friday between 09:30 ad 04:30pm. Please quote the reference number PPC/E20056.

Written representation concerning this application may be made to SEPA at the above address, or via the following email address: registry.angussmith@sepa.org.uk and if received within 28 days of this notice, will be taken into consideration in determining the application. Any such representations made by person will be entered in a public register, unless that person requests in writing that they should not be entered. Where such a request is made, a statement will be included in the register indicating that representations have been made that have been the subject of such a request.
