NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT IN PURSUANCE OF SECTION 34

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Section 36(1)(a) of the Control of Pollution Act 1974, that an application has been made to SEPA by Scottish Water, Castle House, 6 Castle Drive, Carnegie Campus, Dunfermline KY11 8GG for consent to discharge 24883.2 cubic metres per day of sewage effluent and storm water to the Firth of Forth at NGR NT 4480 8260 and NT 4527 8234 respectively from Gullane Waste Water Treatment Works.

Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to The Registrar, SEPA, Clearwater House, Heriot Watt Research Park, Avenue North, Riccarton, Edinburgh, EH14 4AP not later than 8th October 2002 quoting reference WPC/E/0022614.

A copy of the application may be inspected free of charge, at the above address.
