NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT IN PURSUANCE OF SECTION 34

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Section 36(1)(a) of the Control of Pollution Act 1974, that an application has been made to SEPA by Northkirk Limited for consent to discharge up to 43 cubic metres per day of treated sewage effluent to the River Nith at National Grid Reference NX 9149 8615 from a housing Development opposite Riverside Lodge (formerly Ivy Cottage), School Road. Auldgirth, Dumfries.

Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Scottish Environment Protection Agency, 5 Redwood Crescent, Peel Park, East Kilbride G74 5PP, not later than 13th August 2002 quoting reference WPC/W/30631.

A copy of the application may be inspected free of charge at the above address and at the Dumfries Office, Rivers House, Irongray Road, Dumfries DG2 0JE, at all reasonable hours.
