NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT IN PURSUANCE OF SECTION 34

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Section 36(1)(a) of the Control of Pollution Act 1974, that the following application has been made to the Scottish Environment Protection Agency by Kames Fish Farming Ltd, Kilmelford, by Oban, Argyll PA34 4XA, for consent to discharge trade effluent from fish cages at the location specified below. This application refers to an existing installation and includes an increase in the production of fish in cages.

Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Scottish Environment Protection Agency, SEPA West, 5 Redwood Crescent. Peel Park, East Kilbride. G74 5PP, not later than 30th August 2002, quoting the reference number.

Copies of the applications may be inspected free of charge at the above offices of SEPA and at Taynuilt Post Office at all reasonable hours and by prior arrangement with the SEPA, Argyll Office at 2 Smithy Lane, Lochgilphead [Tel No 01546 602876].
