NOTICE OF APPLICATIONS FOR CONSENT IN PURSUANCE OF SECTION 34

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Section 36(1)(a) of the Control of Pollution Act 1974, that an application has been made to SEPA by Scottish Water for consent to discharge up to 600 cubic metres per day of trade effluent to Loch Ryan at NGR NX 0435 6285 from Auchneel Water Treatment Works, off A718, Stranraer.

Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Scottish Environment Protection Agency, 5 Redwood Crescent. Peel Park, East Kilbride, Glasgow G74 5PP not later than 18th October 2002, Quoting reference WPC/W/30745.

A copy of the application may be inspected free of charge at the above address and at the Newton Stewart Office at Penkiln Bridge Court, Minnigaff, at all reasonable hours.
