POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL (SCOTLAND) REGULATIONS 2000

In accordance with paragraph 5 of Schedule 4 to the above Regulations, Notice is here by given that application has been made to the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) for a Permit under regulation 7 of the Regulations by Dana Glacier Vandervell Europe Ltd in respect of activities being carried out namely lead, copper and aluminium foundry activities, electroplating activities and associated metal finishing activities in an installation at Riccarton, Kilmarnock, Ayrshire, KA1 3NA.

The application contains a description of any foreseeable significant effects from emissions from the installation on the environment.

The application may be inspected, free of charge, at SEPA, 5 Redwood Crescent, Peel Park, East Kilbride, G74 5PP between the hours of 09:30 and 16:30 Monday to Friday. Please quote Reference No. PPC/W/20017.

Written representation concerning this application may be made to the Scottish Environment Protection Agency at the above address, or sent to email address ppc.applications@sepa.org.uk and if received within 28 days of this Notice, will be taken into consideration in determining the application. Any such representations made by any person will be entered in a public register unless that person requests in writing that they should not be so entered. Where such a request is made there will be included in the register a statement indicating that such representations have been made which has been the subject of such a request.
