NOTICE OF APPLICATIONS FOR CONSENT IN PURSUANCE OF SECTION 34

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Section 36(1 )(a) of the Control of Pollution Act 1974, that the following applications have been made to the Scottish Environment Protection Agency by Lighthouse of Scotland Ltd for consent to discharge trade effluent from fish cages at the locations specified below. These applications refer to existing installations and include a change to the release of medicine residues used for treating sealice infestations.

Any person who wishes to make representations about the applications should do so in writing, to the Scottish Environment Protection Agency, SEPA West, 5 Redwood Crescent, Peel Park, East Kilbride G74 5PP, not later than 22nd November 2002, quoting the reference number.

Copies of the applications may be inspected free of charge at the above offices of SEPA at all reasonable hours and by prior arrangement with the SEPA Argyll Office at 2 Smithy Lane, Lochgilphead [Tel No 01546 602876]. Copies may also be viewed at Inveraray Post Office, Main Street South, Inveraray.
