POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL (SCOTLAND) REGULATIONS 2000

In accordance with paragraph 5 of Schedule 4 to the above Regulations, Notice is hereby given that application has been made to the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) for a Permit under regulation 7 of the Regulations by Barr Environmental Limited in respect of activities being carried out namely landfill and disposal to land in an installation at Garlaff Landfill Site, Skares Road, Skares, East Ayrshire, KA18 2RB.

The application contains a description of any foreseeable significant effects of emissions from the installation on the environment.

The application may be inspected, free of charge, at SEPA, 5 Redwood Crescent, Peel Park, East Kilbride, G74 5PP or at SEPA, 31 Miller Road, Ayr, KA7 2AX between the hours of 0930 and 1630 Monday to Friday. Please quote Reference No PPC/W/20019.

Written representation concerning this application may be made to the Scottish Environment Protection Agency at 5 Redwood Crescent, Peel Park, East Kilbride, G74 5PP, or sent to e-mail address ppc.applications@sepa.org.uk and if received within 28 days of this Notice, will be taken into consideration in determining the application. Any such representations made by any person will be entered in a public register unless that person requests in writing that they should not be so entered. Where such a request is made there will be included in the register a statement indicating that representations have been made which has been the subject of such a request.
