WIND FARM DEVELOPMENT, PENTLAND ROAD

Notice is hereby given that an environmental statement has been submitted to Comhairle nan Eilean Siar by TXU, relating to the planning application in respect of:

6 wind turbine generators;

a metrological mast;

6 transformer buildings;

a control facility;

access tracks;

temporary site compound.

A copy of the environmental statement and the associated planning application may be inspected during normal working hours (Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm) except public holidays, in the register of planning applications kept by the Planning Authority for the area at the Department for Sustainable Communities of Comhairle nan Eilean Siar, Comhairle Offices, Sandwick Road, Stornoway, Isle of Lewis, HS1 2BW, during the period of 28 days beginning with the date of this notice.

Copies of the environmental statement may be purchased from Farm Energy Limited, Unit 2, Castle Park Road, Whiddon Valley, Barnstaple, Devon EX32 8PA, at the cost of £90.00 including VAT.

Any person who wishes to make representations to Comhairle nan Eilean Siar about the environmental statement should make them in writing within 28 days of the date of this notice to the Director to the Department for Sustainable Communities, Comhairle Offices, Sandwick Road, Stornoway, Isle of Lewis, HS1 2BW.
