POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL (SCOTLAND) REGULATIONS 2000
In accordance with paragraph 5 of Schedule 4 to the above Regulations, Notice is hereby given that application has been made to the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) for a Permit under regulation 7 of the Regulations by Chilton Scotland Limited, in respect of activities being carried out, namely fabric manufacture (knitting, dyeing and finishing), in an installation at Grangestone Industrial Estate, Girvan, Ayrshire, KA26 9PW.
The application contains a description of any foreseeable significant effects of emissions from the installation on the environment.
The application may be inspected, free of charge, at SEPA, 5 Redwood Crescent, Peel Park, East Kilbride, G74 5PP between the hours of 9.30 and 16.30 Monday to Friday. Please quote Reference No PPC/W/20023.
Written representation concerning this application may be made to the Scottish Environment Protection Agency at the above address, or sent to e-mail address ppc.applications@sepa.org.uk and if received within 28 days of this Notice, will be taken into consideration in determining the application. Any such representations made by any person will be entered in a public register unless that person requests in writing that they should not be so entered. Where such a request is made there will be included in the register a statement indicating that representations have been made which has been the subject of such a request.
