NOTICE OF MARINE WORKS AT TAYVIEW CARAVAN PARK, MONIFIETH

Notice is hereby given that Ronnie McNeil has applied to the Scottish Ministers of the Scottish Executive, under Section 34 of the Coast Protection Act 1949 as amended by the Section 36 of the Merchant Shipping Act 1988, to carry out Rock Armour Revetment at the location in the position(s):

Latitude 56.28.4N

Longitude 02.49.3W

Plans showing the position of the works may be inspected at County Buildings, Market Street, Forfar.

Objections relating to safety of navigation, in respect of the application should be made to The Scottish Executive, Transport Division 4, Area 2F North. Mailpoint 2B, Victoria Quay, Edinburgh, EH6 6QQ within 28 days of the date of this notice quoting reference PCV/1/15(36).

NOTICE OF PROPOSED COAST PROTECTION WORK

TAYVIEW CARAVAN PARK, MONIFIETH -

COASTAL PROTECTION SCHEME 2003

Angus Council hereby gives notice under Section 5(1) of the above Act that they propose to carry out coast protection work at Tayview Caravan Park, Monifieth, extending from a point east end of Marine Drive to the point 400 metres west along the coastline. The estimated cost of the work is £350,000.

Plans showing the position of the works may be inspected at County Buildings, Market Street, Forfar.

Any person may serve a written notice of objection to the proposal within five weeks following the publication of this notice to The Scottish Ministers and the Council by addressing the notices of objections to the Scottish Environment Group, Air Climate & Engineering Unit, Victoria Quay, Edinburgh EH6 6QQ and to the Chief Executive of the Council, 7 The Cross, Forfar, DD8 1BX respectively.
