Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981
NATIONAL PARKS AND ACCESS TO THE COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1949 (As Amended)
Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 19 (4) of the above 1949 Act that by the St. Kilda National Nature Reserve No. 2 Declaration 2003 dated 22nd September 2003, it was declared by Scottish Natural Heritage that the St. Kilda Group of Islands extending to 871.86 hectares or thereby in the former Parish of Harris and County of Inverness is managed by The National Trust for Scotland for Places of Historic Interest or Natural Beauty, a body approved by Scottish Natural Heritage for the purposes of the Nature Reserve in terms of Section 35(5) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, as a Nature Reserve under the provisions of the Act with effect from 9th October 2003.
Certified copies of the Declaration with plans annexed have been deposited for public inspection free of charge as undernoted and may be inspected during the period of one month following 9th October 2003:
