NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT IN PURSUANCE OF SECTION 34

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Section 36(1)(a) of the Control of Pollution Act 1974 (as amended), that an application has been made to SEPA by Scottish Water for consent to discharge treated sewage effluent (after primary settlement) to Loch Broom at NGR NH 129 954 from Ullapool Waste Water Treatment Plant, Morefield Industrial Estate, Ullapool.

Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to The Registrar, Scottish Environment Protection Agency, Graesser House, Fodderty Way, Dingwall, IV15 9XB, not later than 30th December 2003, quoting reference WPC/N/70972.

A copy of the application may be inspected free of charge, at the above address or at the Highland Council Service Point, 29 Market Street, Ullapool.
