NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT IN PURSUANCE OF SECTION 34

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Section 36(1)(a) of the Control of Pollution Act 1974 (As Amended), that applications have been made to SEPA by Scottish Water for consent to discharge:

WPC/N/70943 - Up to a maximum of 616 m3 per day of sewage effluent to controlled waters at NGR HY 2587 0971 from Garson Pumping Station (Combined Sewage overflow (CSO))

WPC/N/70944 - Up to a maximum of 616 m3 per day of sewage effluent to controlled waters at NGR HY 2587 0971 from Garson Pumping Station (Emergency Overflow (EO)).

WPC/N/70946 - Up to a maximum of 21.30 m3 per day of sewage effluent to controlled waters at NGR HY 2570 0950 from West Mainland Mart (CSO).

WPC/N/70947 - Up to a maximum of 21.30 m3 per day of sewage effluent to controlled waters at NGR HY 2570 0950 from west Mainland Mart (EO).

WPC/N/70948 - Up to a maximum of 95.60 m3 per day of sewage effluent to controlled waters at NGR HY 2555 0927 from Ferry Inn Pumping Station (CSO).

WPC/N/70949 - Up to a maximum of 95.60 m3 per day of sewage effluent to controlled waters at NGR HY 2555 0927 from Ferry Inn Pumping Station (EO).

WPC/N/70957 - Up to a maximum of 4.75 m3 per day of sewage effluent to controlled waters at NGR HY 2542 0906 from Merrimans Noust Pumping Station (EO).

WPC/N/70958 - Up to a maximum of 4.10 m3 per day of sewage effluent to controlled waters at NGR HY 2531 0887 from Grays Noust Pumping Station (EO).

WPC/N/70959 - Up to a maximum of 20.50 m3 per day of sewage effluent to controlled waters at NGR HY 2531 0861 from Logins Well Noust Pumping Station (CSO).

WPC/N/70961 - Up to a maximum of 2.05 m3 per day of sewage effluent to controlled waters at NGR HY 2539 0891 from Double Houses Pier pumping Station (EO).

WPC/N/70962 - Up to a maximum of 59.20 m3 per day of sewage effluent to controlled waters at NGR HY 2539 0816 from Wellpark Pumping Station (CSO).

WPC/N/70963 - Up to a maximum of 59.20 m3 per day of sewage effluent to controlled waters at NGR HY 2539 0815 from Wellpark Pumping Station (EO).

Any person who wishes to make representations about the applications should do so in writing to The Registrars, SEPA Dingwall Office, Graesser House, Fodderty Way, Dingwall, IV15 9XB not later than 13th January 2004 quoting reference numbers as above.
