ROADS (SCOTLAND) ACT 1984
FORMER B812 AUCHINAIRN ROAD, BISHOPBRIGGS

Notice is hereby given that the East Dunbartonshire Council proposes to make an Order under Section 68(1) of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 stopping up the road described in the Schedule hereto.

The title of the Order is “The East Dunbartonshire Council (Former Alignment of the B812 Auchinairn Road, Bishopbriggs) (Stopping Up) Order”.

A copy of the proposed order and the accompanying plan showing the road to be stopped up, together with a statement of reasons for making the order are available for inspection, free of charge, during normal office hours Monday to Friday inclusive at the offices of

1. The Head of Legal & Administration Services, Tom Johnston House, Civic Way, Kirkintilloch, G66 4TJ;
2. The Head of Roads & Infrastructure, The Triangle, Kirkintilloch Road, Bishopbriggs, G64 2TR (Telephone enquiries to 0141 578 8000); and also at
3. Auchinairn Community Education Centre, Auchinairn Road, Bishopbriggs, G64 1NG;
4. Bishopbriggs Library, Woodhall House, Balmuildy Road, Bishopbriggs, G64 3DS.

Any person may, within 28 days from 9th December 2003, object to the making of the order by notice in writing to the Head of Legal and Administration Services, Tom Johnston House, Civic Way, Kirkintilloch, G66 4TJ.

Objections should state the name and address of the objector, the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made.
