NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT IN PURSUANCE OF SECTION 34

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Section 36(1)(a) of the Control of Pollution Act 1974 (As Amended), that an application has been made to SEPA by Scottish Water for consent to discharge up to 40.14 m3 per day of treated sewage effluent to Loch Harport at NGR NG 3788 3208 from Carbost Septic Tank, Carbost, Isle of Skye.

Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to The Registrar, SEPA, Graesser House, Dingwall Business Park, Fodderty Way, Dingwall, IV15 9XB not later than 18th May 2004 quoting reference WPC/N/71298.

A copy of the application may be inspected free of charge, at the above address.
