NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT IN PURSUANCE OF SECTION 34

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Section 36(1)(a) of the Control of Pollution Act 1974 (As Amended), that an application has been made to SEPA by Scottish Water for consent to discharge:

WPC/N/71330	Up to a maximum of 32.48 m3 per day of treated trade effluent to the Lusta Burn at NGR NG 2725 5462 arising from the operation of Waternish Water Treatment Works. Lochbay, Waternish, Isle of Skye.
WPC/N/71345	Up to a maximum of 45.18 m3 per day of treated trade effluent to the Allt na Saighde at NGR NG 1955 4743 arising from the operation of Glendale Water Treatment Works, Fasach, Glendale, Isle of Skye.

Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to The Registrar, SEPA, Graesser House, Fodderty Way. Dingwall, IV15 9XB not later than 8th June 2004 quoting reference numbers as above.

A copy of the application may be inspected free of charge, at the above address.
