NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT IN PURSUANCE OF SECTION 34

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Section 36(1)(a) of the Control of Pollution Act 1974 (As Amended), that an application has been made to SEPA by Highlands & Islands Airports Ltd for consent to discharge up to 60 m3 per day of biodegradable fire fighting foam to land at NGR NB 4543 3384 from Stornoway airport fire training ground, Isle of Lewis.

Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to The Registrars, SEPA Dingwall Office, Graesser House, Fodderty Way, Dingwall, IV15 9XB not later than 15th June 2004 quoting reference WPC/N/71362.

A copy of the application may be inspected free of charge. at the above address and at SEPA’s Western Isles office, No 2 James Square, James Street, Stornoway, Isle of Lewis, HS1 2QN.
