Notice OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT IN PURSUANCE OF SECTION 34

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Section 36(1)(a) of the Control of Pollution Act 1974 (As Amended), that an application has been made to SEPA by Scottish Water for consent to discharge a maximum of 27300m3 per day of screened storm sewage and/or screened sewage discharged in an emergency to the River Tweed at NGR NT 2677 4002 from a new sewage pumping station at Wirebridge, Kerfield Park, Peebles.

Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to The Registrar, SEPA, Clearwater House, Heriot Watt Research Park, Avenue North, Riccarton, Edinburgh EH14 4AP not later than 9th November 2004 quoting reference WPC/E/71871.

A copy of the application may be inspected free of charge, at the above address.
