NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT IN PURSUANCE OF SECTION 34

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Section 36(1)(a) of the Control of Pollution Act 1974 (As Amended), that the following applications have been made to SEPA by Scottish Water in connection with the present upgrading of the Colintraive sewerage system:

Ref. WPC/W/72121:

Up to 3.45 cubic metres per day of sewerage effluent from a septic tank serving 15 persons at Colintraive North (Ferry Road) to the Kyles of Bute at National Grid Reference NS 0287 7462.

Ref. WPC/W/72017:

Up to 13.32 cubic metres per day of sewerage effluent from a septic tank serving 37 persons at Colintraive South (Kyles View) to the Kyles of Bute at National Grid Reference NS 0414 7347.

Any person who wishes to make representations about the applications should do so in writing to The Registrar, SEPA, 5 Redwood Crescent, Peel Park, East Kilbride G74 5PP, not later than 1 February 2005, quoting the reference number.

Copies of the applications may be inspected free of charge at the above offices of the Agency at all reasonable hours and by prior arrangement with the Argyll Office at 2 Smithy Lane, Lochgilphead (Tel No 01546 602876). In addition copies will be available at Kames Post Office, Battlefield Buildings, Kames, Tighnabruaich PA21 2AB.
