NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT IN PURSUANCE OF SECTION 34

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with section 36(1)(a) of the Control of Pollution Act 1974 (As Amended), that applications have been made to SEPA by Scottish Water for consent to discharge the following:

WPC/N/72427

Up to 1,693 cubic metres per day of septic tank effluent to the Beauly Firth at NGR NH 6622 4775 from North Kessock Sewage Treatment Works, North Kessock, Inverness.

WPC/N/72428

Screened storm sewage effluent to the Beauly Firth at NGR NH 6622 4775 from the combined storm overflow serving North Kessock Sewage Treatment Works, North Kessock, Inverness.

Any person who wishes to make representations about these applications should do so in writing to The Registrar, SEPA, Graesser House, Fodderty Way, Dingwall IV15 9XB not later than 21 June 2005 quoting reference WPC/N/72427 & WPC/N/72428.

Copies of the applications may be inspected free of charge, at the above address.
