NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT IN PURSUANCE OF SECTION 34

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Section 36(1)(a) of the Control of Pollution Act 1974 (As Amended), that an application has been made to SEPA by Scottish Water for consent to discharge up to 23.25 m3 per day of treated sewage effluent to the Cargen Pow at NGR NX 9676 7269 from Islesteps WWTW, Islesteps, Dumfries.

Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to The Registrar, SEPA, 5 Redwood Crescent, Peel Park, East Kilbride, Glasgow G74 5PP not later than 12 July 2005, quoting reference WPC/W/72626.

A copy of the application may be inspected free of charge, at the above address and at SEPA’s office at Rivers House, Irongray Road, Dumfries at all reasonable hours.
