NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT IN PURSUANCE OF SECTION 34

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with section 36(1)(a) of the Control of Pollution Act 1974 (As Amended), that an application has been made to SEPA by Scottish Water for consent to discharge 541 m3 per day of treated sewage effluent, screened and settled storm effluent and screened storm effluent to Blane Water at NGR NS 515 841 from Killearn Waste Water Treatment Works, Killearn, Stirlingshire.

Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to The Registrar, SEPA, 5 Redwood Crescent, Peel Park, East Kilbride G74 5PP not later than 26 July 2005, quoting reference WPC/W/72689.

A copy of the application may be inspected free of charge, at the above SEPA office during normal business hours, and by prior arrangement at the local SEPA office at Law House, Todd Campus, West of Scotland Science Park, Maryhill Road, Glasgow G20 0XA (tel 0141 945 6350).
