NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT IN PURSUANCE OF SECTION 34

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Section 36(1)(a) of the Control of Pollution Act 1974 (As Amended), that an application has been made to SEPA by Historic Scotland for consent to discharge a maximum quantity of 25 m3 per day of treated sewage effluent to Loch Ness at NGR NH 5300 2850 from Urquhart Castle Visitor Centre, Drumnadrochit, Inverness-shire IV63 6XJ.

Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to Senior Registry Officer, SEPA Dingwall Office, Graesser House, Fodderty Way, Dingwall Business Park, Dingwall IV15 9XB, not later than 5 August 2005, quoting reference WPC/N/72746.

A copy of the application may be inspected free of charge, at the above address and/or at the Drumnadrochit Post Office, Drumnadrochit.
