The Queen has been pleased by Warrant bearing date 20 August 2005 to direct the issue of a Commission under the Great Seal appointed to be kept and made use of in place of the Great Seal of Scotland appointing Dr Monica Maitland Main MB ChB DRCOG MRCGP to be Lord-Lieutenant for the Area of Sutherland.
