NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT IN PURSUANCE OF SECTION 34

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with section 36(1)(a) of the Control of Pollution Act 1974 (As Amended), that an application has been made to SEPA by Scottish Water for consent to discharge the following:

WPC/N/73045

Screened domestic sewage and surface discharged in emergency conditions to the Moray Firth at NGR NH 7460 5660 from Rosemarkie Wastewater Treatment Works (Emergency Overflow) Rosemarkie.

WPC/N/73046

Screened domestic sewage and surface water discharged in storm conditions to the Moray Firth at NGR NH 7460 5660 from Rosemarkie Wastewater Treatment Works (Combined Sewer Overflow) Rosemarkie

WPC/N/73047

1217.5m3 per day of domestic sewage and surface water run-off to the Moray Firth at NGR NH 7460 5660 from Fortrose & Rosemarkie Wastewater Treatment Works, Greenfield site, Rosemarkie.

Any person who wishes to make representations about these applications should do so in writing to The Senior Registry Officer, SEPA, Graesser House, Fodderty Way, Dingwall IV15 9XB, not later than 13 December 2005, quoting reference WPC/N/73045, WPC/N/73046 or WPC/N/73047.

Copies of the applications may be inspected, free of charge, at the above address between 9.30 am and 4.30 pm Monday to Friday (except local and national holidays).
