The Queen having been pleased to approve that Major John Henry Callander DL be appointed to Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Midlothian to act for Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant during his absence from the area, sickness or inability to act, a Commission in his favour bearing the date 1 November 2005 has been signed by the Lord-Lieutenant.
