NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT IN PURSUANCE OF SECTION 34 OF COPA AND REGULATION 12, ‘2005’ REGULATIONS
Notice is hereby given, in accordance with section 36(1)(a) of the Control of Pollution Act 1974 (as amended), that an application has been made to SEPA by Scottish Water for consent to discharge up to 3,845 cubic metres per day of treated sewage effluent to the River Annan at NGR NY 1065 8148 from Lockerbie Wastewater Treatment Works.
Any person who wishes to make representations about this application should do so, in writing, to The Registrar, Scottish Environment Protection Agency, 5 Redwood Crescent, Peel Park, East Kilbride, Glasgow G74 5PP, not later than 14 April 2006, quoting reference WPC/W/73440.
Copies of the application may be inspected free of charge at the above address and at SEPA’s office at Rivers House, Irongray Road, Dumfries between 9.30 am and 4.30 pm Monday to Friday (except local and national holidays).
