NOTICE OF PROPOSED COAST PROTECTION WORK ABERDEEN CITY BEACH, ABERDEEN

Aberdeen City Council hereby gives notice under Section 5(1) of the above Act that they propose to carry out coast protection work at Aberdeen City beach, over approximately 500 metres of the beach opposite the Queen’s Links (395450E806800N). The works involve the placement of armour rock and dredged sand to protect property and infrastructure. The estimated cost of this work is £2,500,000.

Any person may serve a written notice of objection to the proposal within 35 days of the publication of this notice on the Secretary, The Scottish Executive, Air, Climate and Engineering, Room 1-G (North), Victoria Quay, Edinburgh, EH6 6QQ and to the Chief Executive of the Council, Aberdeen City Council, St Nicholas House, Broad Street, Aberdeen, AB10 1EZ.
