WIGTOWN BAY LOCAL NATURE RESERVE BYELAWS
Dumfries and Galloway Council, in exercise of the powers conferred upon them by Sections 20, 21 and 106 of the National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act 1949 in accordance with Section 201 to 204 of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 hereby give notice of intention to apply to the Scottish Government to revoke the Byelaws in place for the protection of the Local Nature Reserve at Wigtown Bay at 12:00 on 21 December 2007.

Dumfries and Galloway Council, in exercise of the powers conferred upon them by Sections 20, 21 and 106 of the National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act 1949 in accordance with Section 201 to 204 of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 hereby give notice of intention to apply to the Scottish Government to reapply Byelaws for the protection of the Local Nature Reserve at Wigtown Bay, amended in accordance with the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003 and changes in the area of the LNR, at 12:01 on 21 December.
Copies of the Byelaws can be inspected without charge at all public libraries in Dumfries and Galloway or at Council Planning and Environment Offices in Stranraer, Kirkcudbright, Castle Douglas, Dumfries or Lockerbie. Alternatively copies may be obtained, free of charge, by writing to: Elizabeth Tindal, Dumfries and Galloway Council Ranger (West), County Buildings, Wigtown DG8 9JH.
Objections should be notified in writing by Malcolm Duce stating the grounds for your objection, to: Scottish Government, Landscapes and Habitats Division, 1J South, Victoria Quay, Edinburgh EH6 6QQ.
