POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL (SCOTLAND) REGULATIONS 2000

In accordance with paragraph 5 of Schedule 4 to the above Regulations, Notice is hereby given that an application has been made to the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) for a permit under regulation 7 of the Regulations by Argyll and Bute Council in respect of activities being carried out namely Landfill in an installation at Gartbreck Landfill Site, Bowmore, Isle of Islay.

The application contains a description of any foreseeable significant effects of emissions from the installation on the environment.

The application may be inspected, free of charge, at SEPA, Graesser House, Fodderty Way, Dingwall, IV15 9XB between 0930 and 1630 on working days or alternatively by appointment at SEPA, 2 Smithy Lane, Lochgilphead PA31 8TA, Telephone 01546 602876. Please quote Reference number PPC/A/1025163

Written representation concerning this application may be made to the Senior Registry Officer, SEPA Dingwall Office, Graesser House, Fodderty Way, Dingwall, IV15 9XB, or sent to e-mail address Registarydingwall@sepa.org.uk and if received within 28 days of this Notice, will be taken into consideration in determining the application. Any such representations made by any person will be entered in a public register unless that person requests in writing that they should not be so entered. Where such a request is made there will be included in the register a statement indicating that representations have been made which has been the subject of such a request.
