POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL (SCOTLAND) REGULATIONS 2000 (“THE REGULATIONS”)
In accordance with paragraph 4 of Schedule 7 of the above Regulations, Notice is hereby given that application has been made to the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) for variation to Permit (Permit reference number) PPC/W/20040 under regulation 13 of the Regulations by EGGER (Barony) Limited in respect of activities being carried out namely chipboard manufacturing in an installation at Barony Road, Auchinleck, Ayrshire, KA18 2LL.
The change in the operation proposed by the application is: Erection of 2 new buildings with a total floor area of 1419m2 to provide recycling facilities to the existing plant (42.9 Acres/7.38 HA).
The application may be inspected, free of charge, at SEPA, 5 Redwood Crescent, Peel Park, East Kilbride, G74 5PP on any working day between 0930 and 1630 and by prior arrangement with SEPA, 31 Miller Road,K Ayr, KA7 2AX. Please quote Reference No. PPC/W/20040.
All guidance relevant to the determination of the proposed Variation which has been given to the operator is made available either on the Public Register or on SEPA’s Website www.SEPA.org.uk.
Written representation concerning this application may be made to the Scottish Environment Protection Agency at the above address, or sent to e-mail address RegistryEastKilbridge@sepa.org.uk and, if received within 28 days of this Notice, will be taken into consideration in determining the application. Any such representations made by any person will be entered in a public register unless that person requests in writing that they should not be so entered. Where such a request is made there will be included in the register a statement indicating that representations have been made which has been the subject of such a request.
