COMPULSORY PURCHASE ORDER 2013

Notice is hereby given that The North Lanarkshire Council in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the above-mentioned Acts on Twenty Seventh August Two Thousand and Thirteen made the above-mentioned The North Lanarkshire Council (Bruce House, Buchan House and Douglas House, Allanfauld Road, Cumbernauld) Compulsory Purchase Order 2013 which affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, for the purpose of securing the carrying out of redevelopment by the demolition of three tower blocks and associated lock-up garages and the construction of new high quality housing which will improve the amenity of the area for the residents of the tower blocks and all surrounding properties.

The order is about to be submitted to the Scottish Ministers for confirmation and comes into operation only if confirmed. If the Order is confirmed, a conveyance registered in implement of the Order may extinguish rights to enforce real burdens and servitudes affecting the land and disapply a development management scheme affecting the land.

A copy of the order and the Plans referred to therein have been deposited and may be seen without payment of fee at the offices of the Head of Planning and Development at Fleming House, Tryst Road, Cumbernauld, G67 1JW between the hours of 9.00 am to 4.15 pm Monday to Friday inclusive.

Any objections to the order must be made in writing stating the title of the Order and the grounds of objection and addressed to the Scottish Ministers (The Scottish Government Planning Decisions Team, Area 2H South), Victoria Quay, Edinburgh, EH6 6QQ by the First day of October Two Thousand and Thirteen.

This is the Schedule referred to in the foregoing Notice dated 27 August 2013 by North Lanarkshire Council relative to The North Lanarkshire Council (Bruce House, Buchan House and Douglas House, Allanfauld Road, Cumbernauld) Compulsory Purchase Order 2013.

ALL and WHOLE the nine plots of ground situated at Allanfauld Road, Cumbernauld, shown delineated in red and marked Plots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 on the three plans annexed to the said Order and including (a) the electricity sub station lying generally to the east of Allanfauld Road, Cumbernauld being ALL AND WHOLE the subjects more particularly described in and disponed by and shown delineated black and coloured red on the plan annexed and signed as relative to Feu Disposition by Cumbernauld Development Corporation in favour of South of Scotland Electricity Board dated 2 April 1968 and recorded GRS (Dumbarton) 13 August 1968; (b) any apparatus situated within the said plots of ground numbered 1, 2 and 3 and belonging to BT Openreach and/or SP Energy Networks; and (c) the dwellinghouses and lock-up garages listed as follows:
