The Crown Commissioners and Camden (Prescribed Route) (No.  ) Traffic Order 199 

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Camden on behalf of the Crown Commissioners, having consulted the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, and with the consent of the Traffic Director for London, propose to make the above-mentioned Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985.   The general effects of the Order will be to:   (i) introduce one-way traffic flow in Chester Mews North (eastbound);   (ii) introduce one-way traffic flow in Chester Mews South (westbound);   (iii) prohibit any vehicle entering Chester Mews North at its junction with Albany Street; and   (iv) prohibit any vehicle entering Chester Mews South at a point 14.5 metres east of its junction with Chester Close South (western arm).   A copy of the proposed Order, plan showing the location and the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be inspected/obtained during normal office hours on Monday to Friday inclusive, at the Environment Department Reception, Fifth Floor, Camden Town Hall, Argyle Street Entrance, London WC1H 8EQ.   Any person desiring to object to the proposed Order or make other representations should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof, to the Director of Environment Department, Traffic Management Team, Camden Town Hall, Argyle Street Entrance, London WC1H 8EQ, to reach us by 23rd January 1998, within a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published.
