The City of Westminster (Parking Places) (No.  ) Order 199   The City of Westminster (Free Parking Place) (Disabled Persons) (Permit Parking Places) (No.  ) Order 199  

Notice is hereby given that the Westminster City Council propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985.   The general effect of the Parking Places Order would be to:   (a) shorten certain residents’ parking places in Ashworth Road to provide a disabled person’s permit parking place and a vehicular crossover to off-street parking for No. 5 Ashworth Road;   (b) in respect of the residents’ parking places, the classes of vehicles for which they would be available, the hours during which they would operate and all the time limits during which vehicles may be left in the parking places would remain unchanged.   The general effect of the Disabled Persons Parking Place Order would be to provide a disabled person’s personal parking place in Ashworth Road which would be available for the use of vehicles which display a Westminster disabled permit issued in respect of that parking place without charge or time limit.   The proposed Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at Hyder Consulting Ltd., 29 Bressenden Place, London SW1E 5DZ, until 6 weeks have elapsed from the date on which either the Order is made or the Council decide not to make the Order.   Further information may be obtained by telephoning the Department of Environment and Planning, telephone number 0171-641 1956.   Any objections or other representations about either of the proposed Orders should be sent in writing to the Council’s agents, Hyder Consulting Ltd., Third Floor, 29 Bressenden Place, London SW1E 5DZ, quoting reference WES1004/ORD/1766/CJ, until the expiration of a period 21 days from the date on which this notice is published.
