Notice of application for a licence to abstract water

Take notice that Ready Mixed Concrete (SW) Ltd., of Walker Lincs Industrial Estate, Bodmin, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from a borehole at National Grid Reference SX 0832 6543 at Batch plant site, Ready Mixed Concrete (SW) Ltd., Walker Lincs Industrial Estate, Bodmin.   The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 1.5 cubic metres per hour, 15 cubic metres per day, and 3,000 cubic metres per year, all year. The water will be used for production of concrete.   A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Batch Plant Site Office, between 8th January 1998 and 8th February 1998.   Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, South West Region (Cornwall Area), Sir John Moore House, Victoria Square, Bodmin, Cornwall PL31 1EB, before the end of the said period.
