ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

The London Borough of Haringey (A10 Trunk Road) Red Route (Bus Lanes) Traffic Order 199 

The Traffic Director for London, following a direction given to him by the Secretary of State under section 58(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1991, to implement a Trunk Road Local Plan, hereby gives notice that he intends to make the above-named Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.   The general nature and effect of the Order would be to introduce bus lanes on both sides of the A10 High Road between West Green Road and Seven Sisters Road.   The road affected by the Order is the A10 High Road in the London Borough of Haringey.   A copy of the Order, a statement of the Traffic Director for London’s reasons for the proposals, a map indicating the location and effect of the Order and copies of any Order revoked, suspended or varied by the Order can be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of:   The Traffic Director for London, College House, Great Peter Street, London SW1P 3LN;   Haringey Borough Council, Highways and Safety Group, Hornsey Town Hall, The Broadway, London N8 9JJ;   Haringey Borough Council, Corporate Services Directorate, Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, London N22 4TR.   Any objection to the proposed Order must be made in writing, giving the grounds on which it is made, and sent to the Traffic Director for London, College House, Great Peter Street, London SW1P 3LN, quoting reference A8.1.4.TO/354 to arrive before 29th January 1998.
