The Haringey (Free Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) (No. 11) (Amendment No. 10) Traffic Order 1998

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey on 23rd October 1997, made the Haringey (Free Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) (No. 11) (Amendment No. 10) Traffic Order 1998, under sections 6 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985, and of all other enabling powers.   The general effect of the Order will be to allow disabled persons to park closer to their homes in heavily congested streets. These are to be located in the following roads:   Effingham Road N.8, Tenterden Road N.17, Lakefield Road N.22, Gladstone Avenue N.22, Clarence Road N.15, Claremont Road N.6, Shobden Road N.17, Tower Gardens Road N.17, Queens Road N.4, Hawthorne Road N.8, Lyndhurst Road N.22.   The same Order will provide for the revocation of existing bays in the following roads:   Barnard Hill N.10, Cobham Road N.22, Victoria Road N.22, Bury Road N.22, Morley Avenue N.22, Cavendish Road N.4.   A copy of the Order which will come into operation on 15th January 1998, can be inspected until the end of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made between 9 a.m. and 4.45 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at The Legal Service, Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green N22 4TR, and Hornsey Town Hall, The Broadway, Crouch End, Hornsey N.8.   Copies of the Order may be obtained from T. A. Duguid, at the Legal Service, Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green N22 4TR.   Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the date of which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
